Today was so nice outside, we finally took the opportunity to take Alyssa to the zoo. We had a blast and saw tons of animals. I had issues with my flip flops though. About three steps into the zoo my left flip flop (thong for Australians) broke and the gift shop didn't sell them. So I wandered carefully on this flip flop until it broke in half. Then I had to walk through the zoo with nothing on my feet. I felt really classy!!! (NOT) As soon as it broke, we decided to head out of there. We quickly saw the penguins and the hyenas and then we were out.
It was so nice though and we had a great time. Alyssa slept on my shoulder for about half of it and enjoyed watching the animals during the other half.
We got Alyssa a hat and she looks so cute in it.
On the way home Alyssa got hungry and she is now holding the bottle all by herself, for the most part.
