Alyssa & I vs. San Francisco

My Grannys wish for her 80th Birthday was to have everyone in the family in Australia for a large family reunion. That process was difficult for me but was completely worth it in the end.
Long story short, I needed to become a US citizen in order to get to and from Australia because my Australian passport had expired and it would have taken even longer to get another one and a few other major details.
Anyways so the day after Alyssa's cupcake birthday party I was sworn in as a US Citizen. That evening Alyssa and I flew out to San Francisco in order to get my passport. Eric couldn't make it because of work so Alyssa and I took on San Francisco alone.
We got into San Fran at around midnight due to some delayed flights. After our bags took forever to get to us and then I had to find the rental cars. We didn't get to our hotel till about 2:30am and then we had to get to sleep because I had to be at the passport office at 9am.
We spent the first day dealing with the passport issues and getting visa's for Alyssa and myself.
The next day was AWESOME - we did what most tourists do and we saw everything we could.
First stop - Ghirardelli Square - Yummy Chocolate!!!
We bought a few things there and then we took off for the Piers. But first - Snack Time!!

It was National Landmark Day (0r something like that) so all of the piers and the boats were free to the public. We had fun walking through the boats and checking them out.

As we were walking through one of them, we heard these seals just doing their stuff. Then we looked outside and this is what we saw!!
Seals just lined up barking - it was hilarious - I had to call Eric at work and have him listen to it.

Alyssa and I took a boat tour of the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz. It was so cool. It took about an hour and we got awesome pictures and it was so fun.

After the tour we made our way back to the car so that we could enjoy the San Francisco traffic just one more time before we headed off the the airport. We were going to meet my Mum and Dad so they could help out with Alyssa on the flight to Australia.
I would LOVE to visit San Francisco again. It is so awesome, EXPENSIVE, but awesome!!
