Today was the Stake Temple Consecration Day so my awesome friend, Jen, and her girls took Alyssa and I down to the St. Louis Temple. Jen went in while I watched her girls then she watched Alyssa while I went in. It was so great to finally get to the Temple since moving here.
The Temple is beautiful, I love it!! It is about 2 hours away so it was a day trip. We left at 9 this morning and got back at 3:30ish. It was great. The poor kids had had enough of the car but luckily the drive home was during nap time so this is how the car looked on the way home.
All conked out!!! We are so grateful for the Temple and even though it is so far away, we are going to try to go more often. Now, so far away meaning 2 hours. This is the furthest I have lived from a Temple. Thank you so so so much Jen for taking us - we love you!!
