Alyssa turns 3!!

Our little princess turned 3 yesterday. She is such a big girl people have been asking me if she was three for a long time. We celebrated Alyssas birthday on Tuesday because Daddy was home and we had her party that day. She woke up late that morning to find balloons and a small gift in her room which she loved. We opened presents and let her play while we got ready for her party. She kept asking if she was 3 and we had to tell her that she was and would be for a year.

Alyssa wanted a princess birthday party and chose a castle cake which took me a LONG time to make but well worth it.

Alyssa was very spoiled.

This is us with Lane, Braden and Madison. I met Lane online on Babycenter.com when we were both pregnant with our first babies. We wrote back and forth with two other ladies, Dana and Sabrina. Over three years later Lane and I live 1.5 hrs apart and Lane was so sweet to bring her two gorgeous kids to Alyssas party. It was the first time we've met and it was so great. She is such a wonderful person. We cant wait to do more together with our kids.

On Thursday we took Alyssa to her playgroup and they celebrated her birthday there too. They gave her a crown, which she loves, and they sang happy birthday to her. She was paraded around the circle and got to wave to everyone. She did great!!

We love our Alyssa. She is such a sweet girl. She is a wonderful big sister and is learning so much everyday. She knows how to use my iphone better than I do. Her favorite color is purple. Her favorite princess is Cinderella. Her favorite friend is Hanah - her babysitter!!

We are so proud of our little girl. There is not a day that goes by that we dont laugh at something she does. She is a wonderful girl and we are so glad to have her in our family. We cant wait to see what the next year and beyond will bring.
