Happy 2nd Birthday to my Sweet Mason.
We love you so much and we are so lucky and blessed to have you as a part of our family!! This past year has been full of fun and adventure and you have grown so much. At your 2 yr doctors apt you were 31 lbs, 34 inches tall and your head was 21 inches. We are so proud of you!!
You have learned to walk, talk, run, laugh, tease your sister, love your brother, give awesome hugs and learned a lot of sign language. The talking has been slow but since we have gotten rid of the binky, it is starting to pick up and there isn't much time in the day when you are quiet, and we love it!! You make the funnest sounds and noises, you always have a way to make us laugh.
You always have a way of making everything so interesting. With the explosive tantrums that have lasted hours, the cheeky smiles that makes you get away with everything, life is never dull with you around and we wouldn't have it any other way!!
Right now, you love cars. You love the movie Cars, you love anything to do with Cars, trucks, planes, trains, motorcycles!! For your birthday you got the Mack Truck and lots of cars from the movie. You also got a dump truck and digger to play in your sandpit. You haven't stopped playing with them since. You bring them everywhere. You sleep with them. You just love your cars and we love that you love those cars!!
Just in the past few days you've starting running. And not just regular running, you run for almost a mile. We went to the dog park to run the dog, but you ended up running more than he did and you didn't want to stop. The next day we went to another park and you ran another almost mile then too!! You're amazing as a little runner and we hope it continues if you like it!!
You are so good at teasing your sister and you love it!! She doesn't but it is fun to watch your relationship with her grow. You both love each other and have a love/hate relationship but you both would do anything for each other. You also adore your baby brother. You give him hugs often. If his binky isn't in his mouth, you are always quick to shove it in there. You like to hold him, you love to give kisses to him. You are an awesome big brother to him and I can't wait to see you too as you grow together and play with each other. You've adjusted well to being a big brother and we are so proud of you and we love you so much!!
You love your Daddy and Mommy!! It is so fun to get your random hugs, and kisses!! You are so quick to say "Bye Bye Dada" when he goes to work. You give him big hugs when he comes home. You love to do anything with your daddy, especially play in the sand pit and play cars. You love to go on Daddy's shoulders, but only if it means kicking Alyssa off!! You love to give your mommy big hugs and kisses. You are such a wonderful son and we love you so so much!!
In your adventures, you've tripped and fallen a lot. You have lots of cuts and bruises on your legs and knees, they are your war wounds. You don't get discouraged when you fall. You just get right back up again. You have a little cut on your hand and it has taken it's time going away. You mention it every so often and get a kiss from mommy to make it go away. You are such a sweet little thing.
Lately you've really taken to learning. You know your numbers, letters, colors, shapes and you love to be quizzed on them. You love watching your learning videos and love to play with your letters and numbers in the bath tub. Even though you don't say many words, your brain is always going and learning and it is amazing to watch you and see your learning in progress. You are such a smart little man and you will go far with that smart brain!!
