I tried to put Alyssa in her real crib to take her morning nap but she wouldn't have any of it. She stared at the mobile for a moment and then started squirming and crying so she ended up my arms while I cleaned. But last night was the first night she slept all night in her crib in my room instead of the swing so we are 1 step closer to moving her into her own room.

This morning she was wide awake and so I read a couple books to her. She was amazed by the colors in the book and the wierd noises that her Mommy made while reading the books. She even tried some reading of her own. She makes the cutest noises and smiles. I decided that I would keep a list of favorite kids books that I love and I think would be good for Alyssa so there is a link to the books on the right side of the blog. The book "I'm gonna like me" will be a book that I will read to Alyssa every day. It is a great book on building self esteem for kids.
