Illinois Walk for Children

Last Saturday Springfield held a 1mile walk and carnival for kids in support of Preventing Child Abuse. We had signe dup to do the walk and play at the carnival. The evening before Alyssa had decided to stay awake until Midnight so we didn't make it to the walk but we did make it to the carnival. Alyssa wasn't sure, at first, what to do but she got used to it and we had fun.

A clown made her a flower balloon which she loves.

Bowling

Throwing the ball in the jars (She didn't quite get the "throwing" part but she did a great job putting the balls in the jars)

Throwing coins in the buckets. She also put the coins in, instead of throwing.

But Alyssa's favorite part was the park next to the carnival. She loves swinging on the swings!!

Hopefully next year we'll make it to the walk!!
