Cakes!!

For my birthday I finally took the plunge and signed up for Cake Decorating classes. It is a four week course and there are three different courses. I signed up for the basic course so far, I will sign up for the others though.

I am loving learning things and loving making cakes, although, I am getting sick of cake itself so it's a good thing that I can make these for other people.

This is the first cake that I decorated in my class. I decided to make the first cake for Alyssa with her favorite colors.

My wonderful friend Jen has a little girl who celebrated her fourth birthday and wanted a High School Musical party so I made her a High school musical cake. I don't know the first thing about it but thanks to Ebay I got a few little knick knacks to put on the cake and voila!! I'm still learning so much and can't wait to learn it all!!
Because I am in Young womens, I'm so lucky to share cake with so many wonderful girls and leaders. Each month a leader brings a cake and we celebrate all the birthdays that month. It was my turn to bring the cake and this is the one that I brought. These flowers are called pom poms and are so fun to do.

I'm still learning. I have my final class this coming Monday. We are learning to do roses and other stuff.
