We are having a little......

BOY!!!

We are so excited to be having a little man come into our home and hearts!!

We had our 20 week appointment today. We have been looking forward to this appointment since the day I found out I was pregnant.

Before I went in for the appointment I wanted to make sure he was awake and moving so we had McDonalds and I got some lemonade and ice cream. WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!

A little too well actually. The tech had a hard time getting pictures because he was moving around so much. But she was great and gave us a lot of pictures. We put a few up here for your viewing pleasure.

These first two pictures are side profiles of him. Head is to the right and his little leg is at the left. His hand is up by his face. Throughout the ultrasound he LOVED having his hands in front or by his face.

These last two pictures are my favorite. First one is proof that its a little boy. We thought we were having a boy but I was doubtful and didn't trust my heart. It still seems a little unreal but we are so happy!!

The second picture is a side view of his gorgeous legs, arms and butt!! It is so clear and so cute that he is snuggling and cozey!!
Now for the stats. We are 19weeks 6 days pregnant today. His head measured 21 weeks, which is typical for a Leavitt baby. His legs measured 20 weeks 3 days. His stomach measured 20 weeks 4 days and he weighs 12ounces which is right on for the measurements. I think we are having a big boy.

Now for the name: Mason Aaron Leavitt!!

We like to have the name ready to go before we find out what we are having so that we can start calling him by his name right away. We did the same for Alyssa. When we were deciding on a name, we didn't have too much trouble. We knew we wanted Aaron in the name, because of Eric's bestest buddy (other than me) We ran through a few first names and didn't take us long to settle on Mason. We were going back and forth between Tyler and Mason. My Aunt just had a baby boy and named him Tyler so we new that was out. Once we had settled on Mason Aaron, I knew without a doubt that that was supposed to be his name. I felt it and I felt really good about it. I had an inkling then that this was going to be a boy!!

We are so blessed and so excited to be having this little man!!
