Lately it has gotten so hot here in Springfield. We are hitting about 94 degrees with at least 75% humidity each day. It cools down about 15 degrees when there is a thunderstorm and maybe cools down about 10 degrees at night. So we decided to get a little pool for Alyssa (and me) to play in during the day. We have since used it everyday and LOVE it!! It is so cool and refreshing. Alyssa asks to go swimming every day. We will be getting her in swim lessons in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully have her finished before Baby comes!!
On one of the days Eric had off we decided to do some potato stamping. We cut potatoes in half and made shapes in them. Then used those for stamping paint. Alyssa and Eric both loved it.
When Alyssa is bored in the car her favorite thing to play with is the camera. I love some of the pictures that she gets.
I finished up my very last cake class. After 12 weeks of cake classes, I was ready to be done. I have had enough cake to last me a lifetime but I love to decorate them. We'll see what happens but at least I know what I am doing with the tools I have now.
