Alyssa is obsessed with Cinderella, especially when she gets married. She really wants a white princess dress now and talks about wanting to get married. I hope it's just a phase but we tell her she can't get married till after college. But she likes to pretend and she loves to dress up. She is wearing a little ballerina dress that Grandpa Leavitt bought her. Then she is also wearing her crown and my nursing cover as her veil. She is hilarious with the things she comes up with.
I love her little imagination. She amazes us with her smarts and she is so funny. Yesterday she asked where Daddy was. I told her that he was at work and she asked what he was doing. I replied by saying that he is working really hard for us. She said "No he isn't, he's looking at peoples eyes." She is too smart for her own good.
Alyssa has taken to the role of big sister very well. She is very affectionate, almost to a fault but she is great. When you ask her how old she is she says "Almost 3" She really can't wait for her princess birthday party with a castle. Hopefully I'll be able to get decent sleep by then and I'll be able to put together a decent party for her.
