One of my awesome friends here in Salem is due to give birth any day now. She wanted a last blast trip to the beach before she popped so we headed down to Pacific City with her, her kids, her nanny and me and my kids - no hubbys!! We had a great day playing in the sand, climbing the sand dunes, walking around the rocks. They collected crabs, and fish. They touched sea anemones and saw a huge starfish. It was so wonderful. We built a huge sand castle and flew kites. We ate cupcakes - it was her Nannies birthday and so we celebrated a little too. It was a perfect day. We loved it.
