In talking with a few friends and my sisters, I could be doing time outs with Alyssa so I tried it one day and she sat still for a few seconds and then she was off. Afterwards I read a book that said that timeouts don't work until kids are 2-3 years old. This whole disciplining thing is not fun. She is very good at hitting our dog and so we are trying to stop her from doing it. The funny thing is that if we ignore her she stops doing it.
