Happy Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving this year with Erics' family. Because I have been addicted to making cakes, I decided to do the same for Thanksgiving. These are my Turkey cupcakes. They didn't turn out as well as I wanted to but they were still a big hit, especially with the kids.

I was technically supposed to do a fruit salad, but if you know me, I don't do things the way they are supposed to be done. So this is my Turkey Fruit Salad. It has skewers with Strawberries and grapes. Then skewers with Pineapple and Oranges and then the front skewers have bananas and apples. The head is a pear, the body is a canteloupe (rockmelon) and then the eyes are raisins, the nose is some more oranges and the wobble gobble thing is a slice of strawberry.

It was so fun to make. Eric's family must think I am crazy.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you to Heather and Nate for letting us crash your house and for the yummy food. Thanks to Mom and Dad for their yummy food too!! It was a great afternoon.
