It's so hard to keep a 2 1/2 year old entertained especially when she is so active and needs something to do all the time. Yesterday was a beautiful day and we spent a lot of time outside and playing on the swings but after a nice thunderstorm last night today's weather was quite the opposite. It was cold, wet and windy. So, I am getting really tired of Alyssa watching TV, even though they are educational, I think she can do better.
Today I went through some of my books and found an idea that I thought Alyssa would LOVE. We decided to paint with our feet. Well, it started out just painting with our feet.
She quickly wanted to paint with her hands and then she ended up with paint ALL over her. She was in heaven. 
Over an hour later we had so many pictures of Alyssa's cute feet, and hands and whatever things she came up with along the way. She loved every second of it. 
My goal is to have some activity for her everyday that gets her mind and body moving. It'll be tough but she needs something like that.
