36 Weeks Pregnant

Here we are in the final stretch. We are 36 weeks pregnant with 4 weeks to go. But by what my Doctor said today, it'll be less than that.
Today at our Doctors Appointment they did a few tests and checked to see how baby was doing. His heartbeat was 156 bpms. He hated having his heartbeat checked so much that it took about 5 minutes to get a steady beat because he kept kicking the doppler and moving around. He was very active this morning.
My cervix was also checked and I am 2-3cm's dilated and 70% effaced, much to my Dr's and my surprise although I knew something was going on because the contractions have kicked it up a notch and he has dropped a little lower.

Alyssa was a trooper today. Daddy was at work and couldn't help with the appointment so we packed a bag and had my iphone charged which all kept her occupied and happy while we were waiting and being seen. She is so awesome.

She is so excited to be a big sister. She loves to kiss baby Mason and talk with him. She always loves to say hi to him and kiss him goodnight. She still asks when he is going to be here. We are hoping that he comes July 23rd because that is Daddy's last day of work before his week vacation that we scheduled around baby's due date but if he comes before or after, no big deal, we have plans made.

She wanted to have her picture taken with the timer, not just with me holding the camera, that's why there is so much space around her but this is her 36 week big sister picture. She is so funny.

We are ready for this baby, bags are pretty much packed except for the stuff we have to use every day. We can't wait to meet this little man!!!
