Baumann Farms - Preschool Field Trip

Alyssa's preschool had a field trip to Baumann Farms. We had a great day and visited the pumpkin patch where the kids got a pumpkin, gourd and indian corn.

Then we took the hayride to the apple press area.

They saw the apples be washed, cut up, pressed and poured into gallon jugs. It takes approximately 200lbs of apples to make 15 gallons of cider. They use both green and red apples to make the perfect cider. It was great. They got to eat apple cider donuts and drink apple cider. The kids loved it!!

Then they went and visited the petting zoo, where they were able to feed the goats. They were very friendly goats and they knew it was feeding time.

Then we headed off to the corn maze where the kids went through a small maze which lead to a fun slide. They were scared to go through alone so I went through with them. And yes, I went down the slide too!! It was fun!!

Then the kids had snacks and were free to visit the rest of the farm with their families!!

Alyssa's friends Lilly and Jasmine

They have a place called the nut house which was like a large ball pit but with hazelnuts instead of balls. It was so fun. We all went in there, including Tyler. It was so fun!!

So thankful for Jasmine's parents who helped so much with the kids. Having three kids on a farm by myself was tough but with the help of the preschool teachers and Jasmine's parents, we had a great day!!

We had a great day and we will definitely go back!! Mason will be attending the preschool next year.
Baumann Farms will become a family Fall tradition!!
