Mason's Batman Birthday Party

What a crazy Birthday week Mason has had. It started out early because he started getting presents in the mail and I couldn't make him wait to open them. I'm so glad we let him because it allowed him days to play with his presents.

We celebrated his birthday as a family on wednesday the 16th. Then we had his birthday party that saturday. It was a batman themed party and as always, I went overboard but loved it!!

People walked up to the house to find a polka-dot garland greet them and then a sign on the door that said "Welcome to the Batcave" Then this batsign (above). We had this balloon garland.

These are the favor bags I made out of the left over fabric I used to make the bat-capes.

Lemonade for the beverage along with bottled water.

We had a Gotham city to build after the Joker had ruined it.

Tablescape

Always be yourself. Unless, you can be batman - then ALWAYS be batman.

Batman face watermelon and batman sign canteloupe

Tyler is sporting the capes that I made everyone. I wish I had gotten better pictures but with a bunch of 2 yr olds and 3 yr olds, that wasn't happening.

The kids had to go through an obstacle course to train to be a batman and then they searched for their batman weapons.

Once they found their weapons, they looked for the joker and threw their weapons at the joker. It was fun. The older kids did well, the younger ones just played which was fine too!!

Batman with the joker!!

We call him Bat-Baby

The unbreakable pinata

My beautiful friend Emily with her 3 wk old prince!!

We had a great birthday party. I had a great time getting it together. I will take Mason's 3 yr pictures soon and get a little thing put up about him but we love our Mason!!
