When my neighbor found out I was doing these hikes, she recommended this one. So I invited her to join us. We also had our friends from the Mary's Peak hike, which made for an awesome group of kids and tough moms. We walked up a short trail, maybe 1/2 mile and came to a large open field.
To the left you could see Mt. Hood and then to the right you could see Mt. Jefferson. It was a beautiful, clear, sunny day!!
On the other side of the field there was a large line of blackberries that had hardly been picked so we picked tons of them.
The little kids loved it too!!
Tyler ate more blackberries than anyone. He is such a cutie!! I love that little nugget!!
Sarah is a tough Mom. She carried both her boys on the sling.
It was gorgeous and we loved having great company with us!!
