I have been really sick of buying two sizes of diapers for two different kids. Mason turned 3 in July and we decided it is time for the big boy potty. We have tried 2 times before but I don't know if I was lazy or if Mason wasn't ready but we gave up both those times. This time we bought a huge Captain America toy. We put it on the fridge and waited for him to find it. Then we told him he could have it when he was fully potty trained. We had a sticker chart and candies for when he went, when the sticker chart was full and he was going poopy on the potty, he could have his toy.
He worked hard for the next week to get his toy and finally after almost a week, he had filled up his chart and received his toy. He had a few relapses and had to have his toy taken away until he pooped in the potty again and finally he got his toy back. He is so happy and he is so good at going potty.
It is so nice to have only one baby in diapers!! 2 more years and he'll be done!!
