Alyssa's Birthday Party

Even though Alyssa's birthday is on Sept 29th, we celebrated with a birthday party the following Saturday, Oct 2nd. It was a chilly day but it was so fun. Eric and I made pinata's and wanted them to be soccer balls in the color's of the party so Alyssa and I painted the pinatas. She got more paint on herself than the pinatas.
My friend Sarah has a cricut machine so she let me use it to make this banner for the party. Alyssa wanted an Elmo party so everything was Red, Orange and White with a little black.
Elmo's favorite food is pizza, apparently, so we had pizza. We also gave Alyssa an Elmo shirt for the party that she hugged until she put it on. She looked so stinking cute.
This is the little girls playing soccer with the pinatas. It was a great success. We had a pinata for the older kids, the younger kids and then one for the adults.
Alyssa with her cake. She was a little scared to blow out the candles so her friend Mary Jane did it for her.

Alyssa enjoyed eating her cake.
Opening some presents from her awesome friends. We are so lucky to have such great people around us.

Alyssa wanted to see herself on camera.
We gave Alyssa a soccer goal for her birthday and after the party we went outside to play with it.

Strike a pose kid!!!
I still can't believe we have a two year old. It seems like yesterday she was just born. We just love having this beautiful, funny, crazy, intelligent child in our family.
Happy Birthday Beautiful Alyssa.
