Last Friday we decided to take a little trip to a local area for a little hike around the Aumsville Ponds. It was the perfect day for a hike. The hike was a little over a mile maybe and was really easy for my kids. It was a little dense in the forest areas but it was fine and we were able to get through it.
It was nice to be able to let Tyler walk and have him finally get in some of the pictures.
They had a large bunch of blackberry bushes and the kids ate blueberries along the way. They were quite yummy!!
The pretty pond was huge and full of green algae and nasty stuff but it was really pretty if you didn't look down into the water :)
This was one of two caterpillars that we saw on our little hike.
These geese were so gentle and just moved around the pond as people got closer to them, they'd leave and find something else.
At the end of the hike I let the kids throw rocks and sticks into the pond. Then Alyssa wanted to find a huge stick to put in there. Mason had to do the same. They are such funny kids!!
Love my family!!!
