A family in our ward moved out and gave us their furniture. It was old and a little beat up so I decided to refinish it. It took a little while but after cleaning, sanding and painting I got a new dresser and nightstand for our bedroom and a new set of drawers for our entry way.
I loved working on this and we just received a new table from another family that I am going to re-do and get chairs for it.
