On Labor Day Eric had the day off so we headed on down to the St. Louis Zoo. It was awesome. It is the 3rd best zoo in the country and it is HUGE!!! We spent about 6 hours there and didn't see everything. We have to go back - oh well, I think we can handle that.
It is free to get into the zoo but if you want to go on the train, or see the special exhibits you can buy a $10 pass to see it all. It was well worth the $10. There is a special kids area that Alyssa just loved, especially the jeep.
They had a carousel that we could go on as many times as we wanted because we bought the pass and it was a good thing because Alyssa went on it 2 or 3 times.
Our little family crammed onto one bench on the train. We took a trip around the zoo and it was awesome. Alyssa loves trains so this was super special for her.
Just as we were leaving we caught the sea lion feeding show. It was so fun to watch this seal beg for food. So cute!! 
It was wonderful and we'll be going back very soon.
